Postfix versions before 2.3.15, 2.4 before 2.4.8, 2.5 before 2.5.4, and 2.6 before 2.6-20080814 contain a local privilege escalation caused by symlink race condition in handling hard links to symlinks, letting local users append messages to files pointed by root-owned symlinks, exploit requires support for hard links to symlinks.
