Next.js >= 9.5.0 and < 15.5.13, 16.1.7 contains an HTTP request smuggling vulnerability caused by improper handling of Transfer-Encoding: chunked in DELETE/OPTIONS requests on rewritten proxy routes, letting attackers smuggle requests to unintended backend routes, exploit requires crafted chunked DELETE/OPTIONS requests.
