Envoy 1.26.0 to before 1.35.13, 1.36.9, 1.37.5, and 1.38.3 contains a denial of service caused by null pointer dereference in envoy.filters.http.grpc_stats filter when processing Connect protocol requests on direct_response routes, letting unauthenticated attackers crash the process with a single HTTP request.
